If I had access to an infinite amount of love, which essentially means I learned how to tap into the pool of love that resides in all of us, I would become a teacher of love to teach others how to swim in that pool, to always float and never sink.

Peace,
Terri Hughes

Hmmmm... if I had access to an infinite amount of love the first thing I'd probably do is EXPLODE out of pure happiness...

The next thing I'd do is use it to cultivate the qualities in myself that I would most like to share with others.

I have this wish that I can someday leave behind most of my
fear-based reactions, such as judgement and jealousy, and treat EVERYONE I meet with respect and genuine kindness - even those who have been deliberately cruel to either me or the people I care for. I think you need to have access to a fairly infinite amount of love to be able to transcend a lot of the protective mechanisms that prevent people from being truly GOOD to each other!

Lastly, I'd use that access to forgive myself for all the failures I've created for myself in my life, so that I can go forward and achieve whatever level of greatness my natural talents will enable me to achieve.

Yep, I that's it - that's what I'd do with access to an infinite amount of love!!!!

Sounds so easy when you just write it out like that...!

If I had access to an infinite amount of love...I would simply and totally give an infinite amount of love back.

A world without love is a world without light.

Love starts with one person, and then a family, and then a group, and then a bunch, and then a circle of then a gathering, and then it grows exponentially into the world, ultimately giving those who are open the opportunity to grow and pass it on, and giving those who are closed a glimmer of hope and, with luck, the desire to open.

I hope that you find the best people to share your vision with - I would love to be there,

Jen

I do not wish to be considered for the contest but felt compelled to post.

I believe that God has gifted each of us with an infinite amount of love, and one of our tasks in this life is learning to share that wealth unconditionally. When we learn to give away this treasure freely we will be rewarded with the happiness we seek.

We all have access to an infinite amount of love--the secret is learning to embrace that love and channel it back to the universe.

I do and I am passing it on to my four children, neighbors, family, friends, strangers, and even sometimes myslef (though we all know that's a tough one.)

That was probably a run-on sentence so I might be disqualified. Nonetheless it brought those "happy tears" to my eyes just thinking of all my blessings, thanks!

With an infinite amount of love, I would share it with everyone on the planet, especially the leaders of all of the countries so that they might make decisions based on what is best for their people and not money, power, and greed.

Wow - I am so happy to be reading these posts right now -- just knowing that there is at least a handful of people on this earth that know the importance of love as much as I do is so awesome! I wish I could go on the retreat, but can't this year -- I will be saving up for next year though! I look forward to possibly seeing some of you in the next year at other seminars as well :)

If I had an infinite amount of love (which I feel I do sometimes), I would give it to everyone and everything I know, don't know, wish I knew, have known in the past or will know in the future... <3

I would never be afraid and always do what is in my heart.

Sometimes I just walk down the street so full of love that it just flows out everywhere all over. I get goosebumps on my legs as I just offer it to the world. Learning and practicing how to do this at will is what I have been doing with my infinite love.

I'm very much looking forward to the Miraval retreat.

Theres only one thing you can do when you have access to an infinite about of love, return it. You can't help but respond to getting an infinite amount of love with an outpouring of love. Love breeds more love.

That wasn't one sentence.

Heather said...

There's only one thing you can do with an infinite amount of love, return it. Love inspires more love. It's universal.

That wasn't one sentence, let me try again.

Getting an infinite amount of love would cause a spontaneous loving response because receiving love makes people respond with love.

To ask the question, "what would you do if you had access to infinite amounts of love?" is suggesting that love has to be aquired. Love is not contained, it cannot be. The very properties of love itself will not allow it. To suggest that you have to "access" love suggests that it is contained somewhere, and cannot be accessed freely. Love is always free to give.

Love suggests a relationship. It is only fully realized when you have given it away to someone else. You cannot fully realize what love is if you just love yourself. There is no way to "run out" of love. Consider having more than one child....do you love the second one less, because you have given most of your love to the first? No! Because love is not contained, it does not have to be accessed, we already have infinite amounts to give...love never ends...it is already infinite.

Not to take away from anyone's experience or thoughts but isn't it fascinating that there are 5 comments on the questionairre about love, yet 50 when there is a prize.

I have already learned from the experience, that is definitely my prize!

thank you all for the wealth of responses,,, so beautiful to be reminded how many people are hoping and dreaming of the same things,,,

much love and many blessings,

jesh *

p.s. Anonymous: that's one way to see it, friend : ) another might be that the questionnaire had almost 10 times as many questions, lol, and was in that sense almost 10 times more difficult to answer!

that said, i do look forward to more responses on the questionnaire - i think it could be a very interesting learning experience for us all.

If I had access to an infinite amount of love I would seek to make it visible, audible, and tangible so it would be a power (re)source, freely available for access to anyone who felt they needed it...like "free air" for your spiritual flat tire!
